Employees of Ninotsminda police division of Samtskhe-Javakheti police department along with rescuers of MIA Emergency Situations Managament Agency as a result of jointly held rescue operation have rendered help to the 45 passengers and 15 vehicles. The vehicles were unable to continue route on Ninotsminda-Tsalka-Tbilisi highway due to the heavy snow and bad weather.
Law enforcers transported 5 children and 4 elderly persons to safer place.
At this moment all of the passengers and vehicles have been removed from the problematic road sector and snow clean-up works are underway.
