Director of Samtskhe-Javakheti police department Teimuraz Kalandadze and Deputy Head of the Samtskhe-Javakheti Patrol Police division Koba Kobakhidze have won the first places and earned gold medals in the Georgia Cup tournament held in Telavi.
Teimuraz Kalandadze lifted 150 kg weight and earned the first place. He also earned the first place in triathlon and thus won two gold medals. In the same category, the veterans’ division Koba Kobakhidze also won gold medal. He managed to lift 130 kg weight.
Giorgi Rekhviashvili Georgia Cup tournament is held annually involving professional sportsmen and all regions of the country, which was joined by Samtskhe-Javakheti region.
