Basketball team “MIA Academy” of the Ministry of Internal Affairs has successfully competed in 2014-2015 super league second game. In the tough game “MIA Academy” defeated “Sokhumi” team with 105:75 as a final score. According to the main coach of the team Kote Tughushi- “MIA Academy” is among favorites of this season and intends to win the Super League.
It is notable that Basketball team “MIA Academy” of the Ministry of Internal Affairs won the Super league on May 26, 2013 and became the owner of the Georgia’s Cup the same year, which is an important achievement in the history of the club. Herewith, "MIA Academy" is the only club in the Super League competition, which is composed only of Georgian players.
