Officers of Emergency Situations Management Agency of MIA conducted evacuation of the pupils from “IB Mtiebi” boarding school during the fire and earthquake simulation. The mentioned training was held within the frames of “Civil Security at Schools” campaign.
Firefighters and rescuers of Didube-Chughureti, Mtatsminda-Krtsanisi Divisions of Tbilisi Main Division under Emergency Situations Management Agency of MIA held theoretical and practical training which was attended by the pupils and teachers. According to previously elaborated scenario officers of the agency extinguished fire and evacuated 850 pupils and their teachers from the building. Within the frames of the training rescuers descended three injured persons by means of the stretcher and special safety basket from the building.
The training is aimed at preparing teachers and school personnel for the emergency situations, developing and improving their survival skills.
