Operative Response Center 112 received report regarding the fire in village Kumisi, Gardabani region. Kumisi division tank truck was departed to the site as soon as the report was received. Due to the fact, that the territory with dry grass was on fire, there was a danger of spreading it on larger area. Tbilisi, Gardabani and Rustavi 14 fire and rescue services units were departed to the fire site. 120 rescuer-firemen were involved in the fire-extinguishing operation.
Two helicopters of Border Police Department were also involved in the fire liquidation operation. Two houses and three warehouses were burned as a result of fire. The investigation will determine the cause of the fire.
