The officers of the sixth sub-unit of Rescue Training and Response Division of MIA Emergency Management Department, as a result of successful rescue operation held in Stepantsminda, the citizen of India has been saved who was trapped the gorge.
MIA Operative Response Center 112 received notification that in Stepantsminda settlement Indian citizen fell into the gorge while paragliding and needed immediate assistance.
Rescuers group of Kazbegi unit responded to the notification immediately. At the place of incident rescuers ascertained that Samevi Viqarul Islam had received a leg fracture. Rescuers rendered first aid at in the gorge and ascended him from the gorge with a stretcher. The injured person was transported to the hospital with a ambulance car. At this moment the condition of health of the Indian citizen is satisfactory.
