The officers of MIA Rescue Training and Response base of Emergency Management Department has transported seriously ill elderly woman from Shatili village, Dusheti district.
Emergency call was received at “112” in the afternoon on which MIA Emergency Management Department responded operatively. Due to the weather conditions, heavy snowing and worsening of health condition the patient was not able to be transported by the road transport and therefore aviation was involved in the rescue operation.
Rescuers transferred the patient with a helicopter, which landed on the rescue /training base of the Emergency Department. The rescuers crew was met by the ambulance, which transported the patient at the hospital. At this moment the condition of health of oncological patient is satisfactory.
