25 new vehicles owned by the Ministry were delivered to the Regional Police Departments under the decision of the Minister of Internal Affairs Mr. Giorgi Mgebrishvili. The auto park of the Regional Police Departments is replenished with the “Ford Ranger” model off-road vehicles.
Mr. Besik Amiranashvili, the First Deputy Minister personally delivered the vehicles to the representatives of the Departments. According to Mr. B.Amiranashvili, the mentioned decision was made by the Ministry according to the service necessities of the regions.
New vehicles will make it easier for police officers to move in difficult terrain areas, especially mountainous regions, make their operations more efficient and contribute to the protection of public order.
