Within the frames of “Maintenance of Law and Crime Prevention Program for Public Schools" project which is being implemented by the Ministry of Internal Affairs, representatives of the agency held meetings with pupils from Tbilisi, Batumi and Marneuli public schools.
The officers of the Patrol Police Department held meetings with pupils from N16 public school in Batumi and N3 public school in Marneuli. Law enforcers discussed traffic safety, juvenile crime prevention and other judicial topics. The meetings were held in Q&A format. MIA representatives provided detailed answers to all questions raised by the pupils.
Detective-investigator of the Central Criminal Police Department visited N1 classical gymnasium and held meeting with senior class pupils. MIA representative discussed trafficking, cybercrime and prevention mechanisms for the mentioned crimes.
“Maintenance of law and crime prevention program for public schools" project has been running already for two years. The program is aimed to reduce juvenile crime, and to raise the awareness among civilians on maintaining law and order and safety issues.
