Rusudan Gordeziani, the member of MIA Force sport club founded by MIA Service Agency has achieved absolute record in Georgia. She managed to swim the 73 km distance from Sarpi to Anaklia in 25 hours and 15 minutes instead of the announced 40 and improved previous record with 13 km. 73 km distance has never been covered by swimming in Georgia.
Rusudan Gordeziani dedicated the mentioned record to the heroes fallen in Abkhazian and August wars. Sportsman was met at the shore by the Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs Vakhtang Gomelauri, who handed present to the winner and congratulated with the achieved record. Rusudan was also met by the parents of police officers fallen during the line of duty, who were also handed presents by Vakhtang Gomelauri.
It is notable that event was insured by “Ardi Group” which insured the life of Rusudan Gordeziani during swimming.
Rusudan Gordeziani also received congratulations from the director of MIA Service Agency Zurab Zubadalashvili, other representatives of MIA and government of Ajara region.
