The rescuers of Emergency Situations Management Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs have recovered the body of the person who drowned in the river, near to “Engurhesi” electro station.
Emergency Response Center 112 received report according to which man supposedly drowned in the river, near to “Engurhesi” electro station. As soon as the report was received rescuers teams departed to the place. Search and rescue operation lasted all night, however the body was not found. Thus, additional group of rescuers arrived from the capital.
Team of divers of Emergency Situations Management Department departed to the place of incident with full set of equipment, divers of Zugdidi fire-rescue service was also mobilized at the place of incident.
As a result of search and rescue operation organized by MIA rescuers the body of 47 year old male was recovered from the river.
