The rescuers of Emergency Situations Management Agency carried out a rescue operation in village Omalo, Akhmeta region. A signal informing on fallen tractor in Gometsri valley, Akhmeta reached the Incident Response Department. One person died as a result of the incident, whilst the second, 47 years old man needed ambulance assistance. Upon the receipt of the signal, the rescuers from the Incident Response Department flew to the incident site by the Border Police helicopter. As a result of rescue operation, the rescuers transported the man with multiple injuries to Tbilisi and transferred him to the hospital.
