Expert-forensic Main Division of the Ministry of Internal Affairs hosted officials from Law Enforcement Bodies of the state of Georgia, United States and Tbilisi Bureau of International Narcotics and Law Enforcement Affairs (INL) program representatives.
The officials of Law Enforcement Bodies of the state of Georgia and Expert-forensic Main Division had an information tour around K-9 department, which had previously undergone reconstruction works. The guests got familiarized with specifics of the scent expertise and criminalists’ works. The delegation members also attended the training of K-9 dogs which included simulations for detection of various types of narcotics. They also were introduced to the results achieved by K9 project headed by INL.
It’s worth noting, that Expert-forensic Main Division of the Ministry of Internal affairs has been in close cooperation with Bureau of Investigation of the State of Georgia since 2010. In the framework of the above mentioned cooperation, joint trainings and seminars as well as exchange programs are being conducted on a regular basis.
