As a result of cooperation between Georgian and Turkish Bureaus of Interpol, Turkish citizen Mustafa Besikchi (DoB 1947) was detained in Batumi, who was wanted under the red notice by the Turkish Interpol from November 4, 2014.
Detainee is accused under the article 86/1, 86/3-e, 87/1-d, 62 და 53/1-a, b, d, e, c under the Turkish legislation which implies inflicting of injury with a cold steel. In September 2, 2009 detainee wounded Turkish citizen Tunchai Ienigun in belly area.
At this stage detainee is place at temporary detention center, while pre-extradition proceedings are underway.
