Director of Special Tasks Department – Mindia Lortkipanidze held meeting with Regional Advisor for Nuclear Smuggling Detection and Retention Division of the US Department of Energy-Sandro Volski.
At the meeting, the sides discussed plans to deepening cooperation in the field of chemical, biological, radiation and nuclear threats reduction.
US Department of Energy has handed over special equipment for detecting CBRN threats, which will facilitate the prevention, detection and localization of potential threats in this direction.
