Officers of MIA Special Tasks Department have undergone mountain-skiing training organized by the Austrian experts.
Training was attended by the director of the Special Tasks Department Mindia Lortkipanidze, Ambassador of Austria Arad Benko, Ausrian police attache, head of the mountain police of Austria Hans Ebner and other invited guests.
The aim of the training is to provide officers of the Special Tasks Department with the relevant skills and experience in order to preserve order in the winter resorts.
Representative of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Austria has handed over special equipment to the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia.
At the end of the training Mindia Lortkipanidze has thanked Austrian side for the support and sharing mountain-skiing experience, awarded guests with memorable certificates and gifts.
