The MIA Archive held the presentation of a monography “Farewell brothers! We are being shot tonight!” related to the sovietization of Georgia at the Museum of Soviet Occupation. The presentation was financed by the Konrad Adenauer Foundation. The event was attended by Rector of the MIA Academy Givi Mikanadze, Director of the MIA Archive Omar Tushurashvili, Director of Regional Program for Political Dialogue in the South Caucasia Thomas Schraper, as well as historians, researchers, descendants of those people who were repressed and other invited guests.
