Anti-drug campaign “No to Synthetic Drugs” launched by the Ministry of Internal Affairs was joined by Georgian University where, educational training program was held on anti-drug campaign. The event was attended by students and academic personnel from the University and invited guests.
Under the initiative of the Ministry psychologists of public schools will undergo special training program and drugs anti-social behavior. Professors of Georgian University Dimitri Nadareishvili and Tea Gogitishvili drafted guide books for the mentioned training. The mentioned guide book will help teachers to provide pupils with comprehensive information on hazardous impact of drugs anddd prevention activities.
Presentation was attended by Sophio Kiladze, Head of International Legal Cooperation Division of the International Relations Department of the MIA and Zurab Sikharulidze the narcologist. Sophio Kiladze explained to the students that according to the mentioned law manufacture, production, purchases, keeping, transportation, transfer or distribution, also illegal taking into or out of the territory of Georgia of new psychoactive substances is prohibited and relevantly such actions are the subject of criminal responsibility. Zurab Sikharulidze the narcologist provided answers to all questions raised by the students.
