The officers of Anti-corruption Agency of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, as a result of operative-searching and investigative activities exposed Balabek Gizbasov –representative of the head of Marneuli Municipality in Algethi Community for bribery.
Investigation established, that Balabek Gizbasov produced a fake certificate for a citizen proving that the citizen had purchased 400 sheep from the residents of the same community. The accused demanded and received Gel 2000 in return. The investigation revealed that the citizen needed above mentioned fake certificate to confirm the origin of the sheep. Police officers detained Balabek Gisbasov in Marneuli Region.
Investigation is in progress on the fact of bribery, article 338, I article, which envisages from 6 to 9 years of imprisonment.
