Officers of MIA Anti-corruption Agency as a result of operative and investigative activities detained representative of the head of Adigeni municipality in Abastumani- Givi Kuljanishvili for bribery.
Investigation established that detainee, in his operational area, promised the certain citizen to patronize his activities. In return for placing two advertisement banners Givi Kuljanishvili received 400 USD and 1200 GEL from the citizen. Givi Kuljanishvili was detained in Abastumani by the law enforcers on the fact of accepting bribe.
Investigation is in progress on the fact of bribery, article 338, I part of the Criminal Code emvisaging from 6 up to 9 years of imprisonment.
