The Anti-corruption Agency of the Ministry of Internal Affairs as a result of operative-searching and investigative activities detained Guram Saladze- head of Archive Division of the A/R of Adjara for bribery.
Investigation established that Guram Saladze, by misusing his official powers, promised to Rezo M. to issue certificated of the employment which was aimed for his relative. The mentioned certificate was necessary for the certain citizen in order to receive pension in the Russian Federation. In return, Saladze demanded from Guram S. 300 GEL as a bribe. Law enforcers detained Saladze on the fact of accepting the bribe.
Investigation is in progress on the fact of bribery, article 338, I part of the Criminal Code. The committed crime envisages from 6 to 9 years of imprisonment.
