The Exclusive Economic Zone Course, held at MIA Academy has officially completed. The closing ceremony and certificate awarding was attended by the Rector of MIA Academy and UK Charge d’Affaires to Georgia, Jon Geddes.
The EEZ Course, organized and financed by British MOD, was first held in Georgia in 2010. This year the course was attended by the representatives of Georgian Coast Guard, MIA Academy, LEPL Maritime Transport Agency, Ministry of Environment and Natural Resources Protection and students from Ukraine Maritime Guard. The 5-day course was delivered by the British royal naval warfare school experts
After the completion of the course Nukri Gelashvili arranged a tour around the Academy infrastructure for the guests.
