The officers of Didube-Chughureti police division as a result of the investigative activities held on the basis of the operative information detained Zaal Tch. (DoB 1971) for illegal purchase and keeping of firearms and ammunition.
During the searching activities held in the detainee’s house law enforcers seized 128 bullets aimed for the various types of firearms as well as “Nagan” revolver with a handmade silencer, “Tangfolio” and “Parabelum” firearms, 5 cartridges and 2 fragments of the firearm.
Investigation is in progress on the fact of illegal purchase and keeping of firearms and ammunition, article 236, II part envisaged by the Criminal Code.
