The officers of the Central Criminal Police Department as a result of the investigative activities held on the basis of the operative information detained Giorgi K. (DoB 1983) in Gldanai district Tbilisi for illegal purchase and keeping of the firearms and ammunition.
During the searching activities held in detainee’s house law enforcers seized Kalashnikov automatic weapon with one cartridge and 4 bullets. He has already pleaded guilty.
Investigation is in progress on the fact of illegal purchase and keeping of the firearms and ammunition, article 236, II part envisaged by the Criminal Code.
