The officers of Central Criminal Police Department as a result of operative-investigative and searching activities detained Irakli M. (DoB 1988) in Tbilisi for illegal purchase and keeping of firearms and ammunition.
During the searching activities held in detainee’s house policemen seized 1040 bullets, “AKM” automatic weapon, “AKM 74” automatic weapon, 16 magazines, 2 handles of gun, “F-1” hand grenade, “RGD” type hend-grenade and etc.
Investigation is in progress on the fact of illegal purchase and keeping of firearms and ammunition, article 236, I part of the Criminal Code.
