The officers of districts inspectors’ division of Tbilisi Police Main Division as a result of investigative-searching activities held on the basis of operative information detained previously convicted Tamaz B. (DoB 1981) for illegal purchase, keeping and carrying of firearms.
During the searching activities held in the detainee’s apartment law enforcers seized Makarov pistol with one cartridge and 5 bullets as well as foldable knife.
Detainee has already pleaded guilty.
Investigation is in progress on the fact of illegal purchase, keeping and carrying of firearms, article 236, I and II parts and article 238 of the Criminal Code.
