The officers of the Central Criminal Police Department as a result of the searching and investigative activities held on the basis of the operative information detained Sergo A. (DoB 1975) in Tbilisi.
During searching activities held in his apartment policemen seized “Valter” pistol and 107 bullets. Drug test revealed that detainee was the consumer of amphetamine and methamphetamine drugs.
Investigation is in progress on the fact of illegal purchase and keeping of firearms and ammunition, article 236, II part of the Criminal Code.
