The employees of Didube-Chughureti Division of Tbilisi Police Department of MIA as a result of operative and searching activities detained previously convicted Spartak T. (DoB: 1984) in Kvemo Sobisi, Gori region for illegal purchase and keeping of firearms.
The law enforcers during the personal search of a detainee seized "Kalashnikov" system, “AK 74” model machine gun with a silencer and 1 cartridge.
The investigation is in progress on the fact of illegal purchase and keeping of firearms (Article 236, part II and part III of the Criminal Code of Georgia).
