The standing commission, established on the basis of the relevant decree issued by the Minister of Internal Affairs, liquidated drugs seized from illegal circulation as a result of investigative activities held across the country. Law enforcers destructed 200 pills of “ecstasy”, 250 pills of “subutex”, 200 pills of codeine containing drugs, 500 ampules of morphine, heroine up to 3 kilo grams, 140 kg of hemp, ad 26 kg of marijuana. The mentioned drugs were destructed by means of new technologies in special oven.
Law enforcers conduct destruction of drugs and psychotropic substances in every three months on the basis in accordance with the relevant decision of the Court.
Process of drug destruction was attended by MIA representatives along with officials from the Ministry of Healthcare and General Prospector’s office.
