The officers of Isani-Samgori police division as a result of operative-investigative activities detained Giorgi Z. (DoB 1991) for illegal purchase and keeping of firearms while Zurab A. 9DoB 1976) was detained for illegal purchase and keeping and carrying of firearms.
During the searching activities held in Giorgi Z’s house located in Koda village policemen seized AKM automatic weapon with bullets and one cartridge. Investigation established that Zurab A. gave the automatic weapon for storing to Giorgi Z. Both of the detainees have already pleaded guilty.
Investigation against Giorgi Z. is in progress on the fact of illegal purchase and keeping of firearms while against Zurab A. investigation is in progress on the fact of illegal purchase and keeping and carrying of firearms, article 236, I and II parts of the Criminal Code.
