The officers of Central Criminal Police Department as a result of investigative activities held on the basis of operative information detained Rezo N. (DoB 1969) in the village of Tchvarebi, Gori region for illegal purchase and keeping of firearms.
During searching activities, from the detainee’s house law enforcers seized “browning” pistol, 5 bullets carabine and 3 F-1 type hand grenades.
Investigation is in progress on the fact of illegal purchase and keeping of firearms, article 236, I part of the Criminal Code, that envisages up to three years of imprisonment.
