The officers of the I Unit of Vake-Saburtalo Police Division of Tbilisi Police Department of the MIA detained Mamuka R. (D.o.B.: 1961), in Tamarashvili street, Tbilisi, for illegal purchase, storage and carrying of a firearm. The mentioned individual is previously convicted for the same offence.
The law enforcers seized “TT” pistol, one magazine and 8 cartridges during the personal search of the accused.
Detainee has already pleaded guilty.
The investigation is in progress on the fact of illegal purchase, storage and carrying of firearm (Article 236, parts II-III of the Criminal Code of Georgia).
