The officers of Kakheti Regional Main Division as a result of immediate operative-investigative activities detained Giorgi Tch. (DoB 199) for premeditated murder.
Investigation established that detainee inflicted injuries to Zakaria Z. 9DoB 1980 with a cold steel on the basis of conflict and left the place of incident which took place in Saniore village, Telavi. The victim died shortly after he was transferred to the hospital.
As a result of immediate operative-investigative activities Giorgi J. was detained several hours later in Pshavela village, Telavi, the weapon of murder was seized by police as evidence. Detainee has already pleaded guilty.
Investigation is in progress on the fact of premeditated murder, article 108 of the Criminal Code.
