The officers of Kakheti police department as a result of the operative-searching and investigative activities detained Dimitri M. (DoB 1984) for premeditated murder.
Investigation established that detainee inflicted lethal injury in head area to Elene T. (DoB 1958) on the basis of conflict. Due to the received injuries the victim died at the place of crime.
As a result of the operative-searching and investigative activities Dimitri M. was detained several hours later in Telavi. The weapon of murder was seized by police as evidence. Detainee has already pleaded guilty.
Investigation is in progress on the fact of premeditated murder, article 108 of the Criminal Code.
