The officers of the Central Criminal Police Department as a result of the operative-investigative activities detained previously convicted Revaz L. (DoB 1958) in Tbilisi for being a “thief in law”.
Investigation established that Revaz L. had received the title of the “thief in law” in the criminal world. He admits the existence of the criminal world, follows its rules and publicly supports the criminal world. Revaz L. was actively cooperating with members of the criminal world and participated in criminal skirmishes.
It was also established that in 2011 was leading the organized criminal group in France and Georgia and participated in gathering the so called “Obshiak”. Detainee has already pleaded guilty.
Investigation is in progress on the fact of being a “thief in law”, article 223 (1) II part envisaged by the Criminal Code of Georgia.
