The officers of Imereti regional division of Central Criminal Police Department as a result of special operative activities detained Giga M. (DoB 1984) for illegal purchase and keeping of ammunition.
During the searching activities held in the detainee’s house located in Obcha village, law enforcers seized 134 bullets for automatic weapon and RGD-5 hand grenade.
Detainee has already pleaded guilty.
Investigation is in progress on the fact of illegal purchase and keeping of ammunition, araticle 236, I part of the Criminal Code.
