The officers of Old Tbilisi police division as a result of operative-investigative activities detained previously convicted Garik B. for stealing.
Investigation established that detainee illegally appropriated car owned by Teimyraz B. and stole it. He disintegrated the vehicle and prepared accessories and parts for further selling.
As a result of operative-investigative activities Garik B. was detained in Tbilisi. The stolen vehicle and its parts were seized by police on Kupradze Street. Fiscal damage caused to the legal owner of the car amounted to 14 050 GEL.
Investigation is in progress on the fact of stealing, article 177, III part, sub-paragraph A of the Criminal Code.
