The officers of Akhaltsikhe division of Anti-corruption Agency, as a result of investigative activities held on the basis of operative information detained employee of Adigeni forestry district of Samtskhe-Javalheti Forestry Service Mamuka E. in and Shalva G. the employee of Akhaltsikhe forestry district on the fact of bribery.
Investigation established that Mamuka E. and Shalva G. allowed certain citizens illegal timber cutting in exchange for certain amount of cash.
Investigation is in progress on the fact of bribery, article 338, which envisages from 6 to 9 years of imprisonment.
