Gurjaani police division of Kakheti police department as a result of the investigative activities held on the basis of the operative information detained Nikoloz K. in Anaga village, who was wanted from September 2, 2015 for domestic violence.
Investigation established that on July 30 2015 detainee physically assaulted his wife- Luiza P. (DoB 1991). Gurjaani regional court ruled out the term of imprisonment for the period of 1 year in absentia against Nikoloz K. for the domestic violence, crime envisaged by the article 120.
The detainee is currently placed at N8 prison of the penitentiary department.
