The officers of detectives’ unit of Tbilisi Police Main Division as a result of investigative activities held on the basis of operative information detained previously convicted for drug crime Aleksandre K. (DoB 1972) for illegal purchase and selling of drugs and Levan V. (DoB 1966) for illegal purchase and storing of drugs.
During the personal search of Levan V. law enforcers seized one package of drug and 6 more packages of Hashish were seized from the vehicle owned by him. According to the results of expertise the amount of the seized drugs is 1,0206 gr.
Investigation established that Levan V. purchased drugs from Aleksandre K. for 600 USDs. During the searching activities held in Aleksandre K’s house law enforcers seized cash received as a result of selling drugs and various drugs.
Drug test showed that both of the detainees were under the influence of marijuana in the moment of detention.
Detainees have already pleaded guilty.
Investigation against Aleksandre K. is in progress on the fact of illegal purchase, keeping and selling of drugs, while investigation against Levan V. is in progress on the fact of illegal purchase and keeping of drugs in large quantities (article 260, II part, sub-paragraph A of the Criminal Code of Georgia).
