The officers of State Security Agency and Main Prosecutor’s Office, as a result of jointly held investigative and operative-searching activities, detained Kakhi M. (DoB 1971) for illegal purchase, keeping and smuggling of drugs in Tbilisi International Airport.
Law enforcers seized various drugs as a result of personal search of the detainee, specifically, the officers seized 5,591 gr. Cocaine, 1,15 gr. of cannabis and 0,2048 gr. of so-called Ecstasy from the detainee’s hand luggage and personal wallet.
The drug test revealed, that Kakhi M. is a consumer of cocaine.
Investigation is in progress on the fact of illegal purchase, keeping and smuggling of drugs. (Article 260, part I and article 262 part I of the Criminal Code of Georgia.)
