The officers of the Central Criminal Police Department and Kvemo Kartli regional divisionof the Patrol Police as a result of the jointly held operative-investigative activities detained previously convicted Zviad S. (DoB 1977) at the border crossing point for illegal purchase, keeping and selling of drugs in large quantities.
Investigation established that detainee purchased 0,34638 gr of heroin ilegally for further realization and sold it later in Saimerlo village, Marneuli region.
Drug test revealed that detainee was the consumer of methadone containing drugs.
Investigation is in progress on the fact of illegal purchase, keeping and seeling drugs, article 260 V part, sub-paragraph A of the Criminal Code of Georgia. Investigation is conducted by the central Criminal Police Department.
