The officers of central Criminal Police Department as a result of operative-searching activities detained previously convicted Paata M. (DoB 1983) for illegal purchase and keeping of drugs in especially large quantities and for illegal import of drugs.
Investigation established that detainee illegally imported drugs from Turkey. During the personal search law enforcers seized 10 packages of drug substance (1,7gr). According to the results of expertise the seized drug contained 1,24 gr of heroin.
As a result of the drug test it was ascertained that Paata M. was drug addicted person.
Detainee has already pleaded guilty.
Investigation is in progress on the fact of illegal purchase and keeping of drugs in especially large quantities and on the fact of illegal import of narcotics (article 260 III part, sub-paragraph A and article 262 IV part, sub-paragraph A of the Criminal Code. Investigation is conducted by Criminal Police Department.
