The officers of Kaspi police division of Shida Kartli police department as a result of investigative activities held on the basis of the operative information detained T.M. (DoB 1968) for the drug-related crime.
During the personal search of the detainee policemen seized 2 packages of drug substance which appeared to be 22,83 gr of handmade drug substance which contains 1,7271gr. of heroin.
Drug test revealed that detainee was under the influence of drugs in the moment of his detention.
Detainee has already pleaded guilty.
Investigation is in progress on the fact of illegal purchase and keeping of drugs in especially large quantities, article 260, VI part, sub-paragraph A and article 262, part IV, sub-paragraph A of the Criminal Code.
