The officers of the Detectives Division of Tbilisi Police Department and the officers of Isani-Samgori Division of the MIA as a result of jointly conducted operative-searching and investigative activities detained previously convicted Besik O. (DoB: 1980) for premeditated murder in Tbilisi.
The investigation established that the detainee on June 6, 2016 in Garekakheti Street, Isani-Samgori district of Tbilisi, on the grounds of jealousy caused multiple bodily injuries by shooting from the firearm to his wife Ekaterine K. (DoB: 1980) and fled from the crime scene. Ekaterine K. died in the hospital.
The accused was detained immediately by the law enforcers. The investigation is in progress on the fact of premeditated murder (Article 108 of the Criminal Code of Georgia).
