The officers of Kakheti police department and Akhmeta prosecuror’s office as a result of immediate operative-searching and investigative activities detained previously convicted Vakhtang N. (DoB 1983) for premeditated murder.
Investigation established that being under the alcohol influence Vakhtang N. murdered Ilia M. with an axe in his sown house on the basis of conflict.
As a result of the operative-searching and investigative activities Vakhtang N. was detained several minutes later. He has already pleaded guilty. The weapon of murder was seized as evidence.
Investigation is in progress on the fact of premeditated murder, article 108 of the criminal code.
