The officers of Isani-Samgori police division along with Rustavi police main division as a result of operative –searching and investigative activities detained Giorgi Sh. (DoB 1984) for premeditated murder.
Investigation established that late at night on October 16 detainee inflicted lethal injuries to Zura S. (DoB 1984) on the basis of jealousy. The incident took place in the field located in Rustavi. Due to the received injuries the victim died at the place of crime. In order to hide the traces of crime detainee took the victim’s body to Ponitchala with the vehicle owned by his father and threw the body in one of the water canals.
As a result of immediate operative activities Giorgi Sh. was detained by few hours by law enforcers in Rustavi. Detainee has already pleaded guilty. Investigation is in progress on the fact of premeditated murder, article 108 of the Criminal Code.
