The officers of Mtskheta-Mtianeti Regional Main Division detained vakahtang M. (DoB 1976) for premeditated murder.
Investigation established that detainee inflicted lethal injury to his co-villager Iago N. (DoB 1982) with a cold steel on the basis of conflict. Due to the received injuries the victim died before he was admitted to the hospital.
As a result of immediate investigative activities Vakhtang M. was detained by the law enforcers in several hours after committing the crime. The weapon of murder was seized as evidence by Police.
Detainee has already pleaded guilty.
Investigation is in progress on the fact of premeditated murder, article 108 of the Criminal Code.
