Officers of Tbilisi Police Department along with Vake-Saburtalo police division as a result of jointly held operative-searching and investigative activities detained O.A. (DoB 1987) for premeditated murder, whereas D.Ts. (DoB 1963) was detained in Tbilisi for non-reporting especially grave crime.
Investigation established that being under the alcohol influence O.A. inflicted multiple injuries with a blunt object in head area to his mate G.M. (DoB 1976) in his own house. Due to the received injuries the victim died at the place of crime several hours later. With the aim to conceal the traces of crime O.A. hid the body in the basement located near to the house.
Both of the detainees have pleaded guilty.
Investigation is in progress on the fact of causing severe health damage on purpose, causing death as well as on the fact of non-reporting especially grave crime- articles 117, II part and 376 envisaged by the Criminal Code of Georgia.
