The officers of Kvemo Kartli Regional Main Division as a result of operative investigative activities held on the basis of operative information detained Jeikhun G. (DoB 1996) Charkaz M. (DoB 1991) Adil K. (DoB 1988) Zaur M. (DoB 1985) and Merab M. (DoB 1987) for premeditated murder and armed robbery.
Investigation established that on March 22, at 21:00 on 97 km of the Red Bridge-Tbilisi route passengers of “Mercedes” made vehicle were assaulted. Among passengers there were two Azerbaijani citizens. Detainees wounded one of the passengers Nariman M. (DoB 1980) with a cold steel and stole 160 thousand Azerbaijani manta, 45 thousand GEL and fled from the place of crime. Nariman M. died due to the received injury at the place of crime.
Police detained the offenders on the second day after the crime. Investigation is in progress on the fact of premeditated murder and armed robbery, article 108 and article 179, III part, sub-paragraph “FD” of the Criminal Code).
